By train: Take the Eurostar to Paris and then the TGV from Paris-Lourdes. An SNCF bus connects Lourdes station with Luz (55 mins). There is also a night train (Lunéa) from Paris to Lourdes so a Eurostar leaving London between 5-7pm will get you into Lourdes at 7.30am and in Luz by 9am. See the TGV Europe site for prices and timetables.  Rail Europe also provides these.  Once in Luz the local bus network connects you with Barèges all year around, and Gavarnie from June-Sept.

By plane: From May to October there are direct flights from Manchester to Lourdes Monday and Friday (with BMIBaby). Otherwise Ryan Air flies to Pau, Biarritz and Carcasonne and there are many airlines flying into Toulouse. In winter Ryan Air flies to Lourdes.
